Welcome to Clan HOPw,

HOPw stands "Husbands of Pissed Wives" and is (pronounced HOP).

We are a group of players that got together and played quake1.  Clan HOPw began in February 1997.  We registered with Clanring and other clan databases like Teamplay.net, Clanpages.com etc but keeping up with all the new rules, files size restrictions and url changes are too time consuming.  We are active but unorganized.  Hopefully the HOPw's that are playing a lot are wearing their HOPw name proudly.

We enjoy playing quake and will play against any Clan. We will play hard and give any clan that challenges us as much competition as we can. Our member ping times vary. We are not here to climb the ladder as the best Quake Clan in existence, hardly, we are here to have fun. Need practice, target practice that is, challenge us.  We will do our best to field a quake1 team as well as Quakeworld or Quake3  If your interested send me an email and I'll contact other HOPw's that might be interested in a match.

How do you become a HOPw?

• First you must have a pissed wife. A pissed wife is either currently married, or separated/divorced, or you can become a HOPw if you have a steady girlfriend and it just seems like your already married, hehe.
• Next you need to be at least 25 years old and older..
• And finally you need to have played with some of the current HOPw members and have Five HOPw's recommend you as a member.
